Creating patterns, mostly by hand and digitaly finished, is so much fun. And now a few of my patterns can be bought on wrapping paper, wallpaper and/or fabric at Motiflow! My patterns really come to live on a product, and that’s so great to see. The products are super easy to buy online, and there are a lot of unique patterns from great designers.
Motiflow
Motiflow is a Dutch company that produces unique patterned products, on high quality materials. The patterns are created by designers from all over the world! Motiflow prints on demand in the Netherlands, so there is no stock and a minimal waste. They work in a eco-friendly way, which is important to me as a designer as well.
How does it works? Go to the website of Motiflow and choose a pattern. You can search by keywords (like pink, birds, or abstract), or you can browse through all, trending or new patterns. And of course you can search by designer. The pattern than can be placed on one of the three product materials. Which products can you buy?
• Giftwrap: 75 gr, eco-friendly ( 100% recyclable), European papers and FSC certified. Available in two sizes (50 cm x 2 m and 80 cm x 2 m).
• Wallpaper: non-woven 200 gr, eco-friendly ( 100% recyclable), easy to clean and fire-resistant.
• Fabric: cotton basics (138 gr, 3 widths), cotton satin (100 gr, 3 widths), cotton jersey (180 gr, 1 width), poly outdoor (225 gr, 3 widths). All fabrics are printed with non-toxic pigment ink. The fabrics all are GOTS-certified and have the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification.
